IS FOOTBALL A SAFE SPORT?

I think football is a dangerous and a risky sport.My main reasons why i think this is because now days in the Nfl people are getting hurt and getting concussions and if you have been paying attention to the nfl news alot of players are retiring from the sport.Another reason why is because alot of former players are dieing from brain injury because they been hit alot in the head.So thats my reason why i think football is dangerous but its still a cool sport.
